Fast Raman OFDR via Compressed Sensing – a Numerical Experiment

Abstract

Raman Optical frequency-domain reflectometry (ROFDR) can take advantage of compressed sensing to retrieve approximate temperature profiles. We numerically show that hotspots can be reconstructed from a small subset of the otherwise required frequencies under some assumptions.
