Energy Harvesting from Fiber Bragg Grating-Based Sensors

Abstract

This work introduces a novel FBG-based system that utilizes FBG’s reflected light for temperature sensing and harvests 4.33-mW from the transmitted light that is otherwise wasted. This enables efficient power management and precise temperature measurements.
