Abstract
Large aperture optical elements for polarisation control are one of the main concerns in advanced laser systems. Anisotropic thin films have already proven to be able to control the intensity and the phase of light. In order to manufacture such optical components with high resistance for laser light, characterisation of deposition parameters are essential. A serial bi-deposition method was employed to coat anisotropic layers for polarisation control. By varying the parameters of method, spectral and structural performances were tested.
