Abstract
The Halogen Occultation Experiment is designed to measure HF, HCI, NO, and CH4 in the stratosphere and lower mesosphere using gas correlation spectroscopy. It is found that collisional narrowing effects must be incorporated for accurate HF retrieval using HALOE data.
