Abstract
The inversion of photon correlation functions and angular light-scattering intensities to recover particle-size distributions and molecular weights, respectively, are ill-conditioned problems whose solutions depend sensitively on noise in the data. The special techniques and precautions required for reliable results and implications for experimental design will be discussed.
