Abstract

We have designed, fabricated and tested a high speed opto-isolator utilizing state-of-the-art optoelectronic components operating at frequencies up to 6 GHz. This opto-isolator will be an indispensible component in modem radar systems and is used for preventing frequency-pulling of a low power oscillation due to reflected signals.
