Abstract

Zn-Sn-O (ZTO) buffer layers for thin film solar cell are deposited by low cost spin-coating method. The bandgap of ZTO thin films varies from 3.30 to 3.44eV with the Zn/Sn ratio from 11 to 1.2, while the optical transmittance of prepared ZTO thin films are beyond 90% in the range of visible spectra, which are suitable for the buffer layer in thin film solar cells.
