Abstract
Singlet oxygen is recognized to be the main cytotoxic species generated during photodynamic therapy. In this talk, the emerging strategies for enhanced photosensitized singlet oxygen generation are introduced, and the recent advances in spatiotemporal detection of singlet oxygen luminescence at around 1270 nm are presented.
