Optical Interconnects in Supercomputers

Abstract

Optical interconnects are now used extensively in Petascale supercomputers. Technological and economic requirements for optics in future supercomputers through the Exascale are considered, and the optics technologies that can meet these requirements are reviewed. Article not available.
