Abstract

We investigate optical transmission systems using optical arbitrary waveform generation and measurement supporting any modulation format and scalable to >Tb/s. Experiments include 1.2 Tb/s packet generation and 3 b/s/Hz spectral efficiency and dispersion pre-compensated transmission.
