Abstract
The radiative recombination dynamics of carriers in thin In0.28Ga0.72As pseudomorphic single quantum wells (SQWs) sandwiched between thick unstrained GaAs confining layers are investigated using time-resolved photoluminescence. Pseudomorphic heterostructures are of considerable interest since loosening of the lattice matching constraint allows increased flexibility in choosing constituent materials.
