Abstract
Semiconductor superlattice (SL) structures are ideal systems for a detailed study of the properties of periodic potential structures in an electric field. In the frequency domain, Wannier-Stark-ladders (WSL) were observed by various techniques. Recently, Bloch oscillations, which are the time-domain equivalent of WSL, have been investigated by time-resolved optical techniques.1,2 In this contribution, we trace the spatial dynamics of carriers in a superlattice by comparing self-diffracted Degenerate-Four-Wave-Mixing (DFWM) and Terahertz Emission (TE) measurements.
