Abstract
The dynamics of resonantly excited excitons in quantum wells (QWs) is an active field of research.1-3 Resonant excitation offers the advantage of generating and probing the time evolution of an exciton population with a fixed (k|| ≈ 0) wave vector. Here, we present resonant time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) experiments on a high-quality 200-Ǻ GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As single QW, with 0.25-meV PL linewidth at lower temperature and less than 0.05 meV of Stokes shift.
