Abstract
This study examines the photoelectron spectra (PES), the electron angular distributions, and the ion yields of helium in an intense laser field of 1014–1016 W/cm2. The strong-field double ionization of helium is measured over 12 orders of magnitude and is compared with a classical two-electron ionization model.
