Multi-material optical fiber fabrication and applications

Abstract

I review our progress in the emerging area of multi-material fibers. Applications range from mid-infrared linear and nonlinear chalcogenide glass fibers and fiber tapers, to the scalable and scale-invariant fabrication of micro- and nano-scale structures.
