Terabit/s Super-Channels Based on OFDM

Abstract

OFDM emerges as a viable technology for the generation of Terabit/s super-channels. We review the concepts behind electrical and all-optical OFDM and report on recent electrical 100 Gbit/s and 26 Tbit/s all-optical super-channel generation experiments.
