Phase Recovery of Ultrabroadband Waveforms Over Long Time Durations by Unwrapping a Photonic Spectrogram

Abstract

Using electro-optic phase modulation and dispersive propagation, we recover the second- and third-order expansion of the spectral phase profile of a chirped broadband waveform with >5 THz bandwidth extending over a duration of 159 ns.
