Abstract

A series of six laser lines at 330-390 nm on the B3xX3y transition in sulfur dimer vapor transversely-pumped by a XeCl laser at 308.1nm was first observed and the corresponding absorption coefficient and snail signal gain coefficient were measured. The mean gain is about 0.30 cm-1.
