Abstract
A group of new spectrograph schemes based on transmission concave holographic gratings is proposed. Theory of aberration of such grating is developed. It’s shown that this grating can form a spectrum on a plane with relatively high resolution, when it’s mounted in a converging beam. This principle is used in a number of schemes including a built-in, dual-band and monolithic spectrographs, as well as spectrographs with increased diffraction efficiency and spatial resolution.
