Abstract
We report on the development of a compact diode-pumped Terawatt laser for generation of intense Terahertz pulses by optical rectification in LiNbO3. Using a 15mJ compact ultrafast laser already allowed to demonstrate 150μJ Terahertz, with 0,36% conversion efficiency. We report on a laser delivering 200mJ at 50Hz repetition rate and 480fs pulse duration, holding the potential to generate 1mJ-level Terahertz ultrashort in an equivalent setup.
