Abstract
Photoinduced multi-electron transfer is reported in two hexanuclear intervalant charge transfer complexes of Pt(IV) and Fe(III). Femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy, resonance Raman and electrochemical data suggest the degree of excited state electronic coupling is tunable by changing the electronic nature of the bridging ligand.
