Shaped sub-20 fs UV Pulses: Handling Spatio-Temporal Coupling

Abstract

Based on acousto-optical shaping performed directly in the UV spectral range, we demonstrate that correct beam focusing is essential to get fully wavelength tunable, nearly Fourier limited as well as complex structured sub-20 fs pulses.
