Abstract
Excitons modulated by moiré superlattices are a unique model system to explore emergent quantum phases. Here, for the first time, we use time- and angle-resolved photoemission to present unprecedented insight onto the formation dynamics of interlayer excitons in TMD heterostructures with energy-, in-plane momentum, and femtosecond time-resolution.
