Advances in Integration of Photonic Crystal Fibers in High-power Fiber Laser

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Amongst others, we present a fully monolithic 40µm core, Yb-doped photonic-crystal-fiber amplifier module producing up to 210W average power at 1064nm in thermally controlled packaging, showing excellent peak-to-peak stability (<1%fluctuations) over 25 days at >100W.
