Table 1 of an earlier paper [Opt. Lett. 40, 336 (2015) [CrossRef] ] contained an incorrect mathematical expression. The error is rectified here.

In the second column, fourth row, of Table 1 in [1], the expression $(τ_{D} K - N) / [K (τ_{D} - τ_{F})]$ should have been $(τ_{D} N - X) / [τ_{D} K - N)]$ , as in Eq. (5).
