Silicon in Gray Iron — Further Investigation

Abstract

In a paper last year, the author described a successful method for determining silicon in gray iron in use at Louisville Works of International Harvester Company. Routine and experimental work, since this paper was presented, shows that a number of changes in the precedure were advisable in order to increase the accuracy and efficiency of analysis.
