Abstract
This paper analyzes the main methods of fabricating high-accuracy (conversion error less than ±3″) goniometric structures (rasters, scales, dials, multidigit graduated disks) from the standpoint of their applicability for creating high-accuracy goniometric devices (GDs). Using a uniform technique on a single measurement apparatus during a short time interval, the cumulative error of rasters fabricated by four alternative technologies is measured. It is shown that it is preferable to use technologies based on laser image generators when producing high-accuracy GDs.
