Abstract
Using the results of the operation of the TrIO-1 optical track device for measuring the concentration of near-earth ozone, a measurement technique has been perfected, the time and error of the measurements have been decreased, and a criterion has been introduced for self-calibration of the device. The parallel operation of two different types of devices (TrIO-1 and TEI-49C) showed that the results of the measurements were affected by the operating conditions of the devices and by such atmospheric phenomena as thermal convection.
