Abstract
This paper discusses the characteristics of laser radiation reflected from a catadioptric retroreflector as a function of the field-of-view angle in the presence of deviations of its geometrical parameters—variation of its length along the axis, variation of the radius of the reflecting surface, and decentering of the surfaces. The calculations use third-order aberration theory and the Fresnel–Kirchhoff integral in the Fraunhofer approximation.
