Abstract
Calculations have been carried out and designs determined for multilayer optical coatings for effectively protecting the eyes and apparatus from several laser radiations in the 320–1600-nm region simultaneously. The calculated spectral characteristics of filters are presented for blocking radiation at four wavelengths (355, 532, 1064, and 1540 nm) and six wavelengths (355, 532, 694, 1064, 1315, and 1540 nm) of laser radiations. The optical density in the suppression zones is at least 3. The transmittance in the visible region is about 50%. Test batches of coatings have been fabricated under production conditions, and the results of the tests are presented.
