Abstract
This paper presents attributes suitable for recording breaks in clouds in the automatic regime at night and in the twilight hours. The operating principle of an astrooptical device is described that evaluates the optical transparency of the atmosphere from absorbed stellar radiation. The details of the recording of the spatiotemporal parameters and the transmission of the breaks in clouds are considered, and the dependence of these details on the recording conditions and the technical characteristics of the astronomical recording devices are investigated.
