Abstract
This paper discusses the results of an investigation of aspheric lenses of large axial thickness used as light concentrators in the optical systems of optoelectronic sensors. The design parameters of lenses to be made both from polymers and from optical glass are given. It is shown that such lenses can be mass-produced by molding, by casting under pressure, or by precision glass sagging.
