Enhanced absorption in optically-thin solar cells by scattering from embedded dielectric nanoparticles: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Some typographical errors in our manuscript are reported and corrected.

©2010 Optical Society of America

Some presentational errors appeared in [1]:

  • 1. On the first line after Eq. (2), the units for photon flux are incorrect. The correct units are “photons · s−1 · m−2 · nm−1.”
  • 2. The y-axis label for Fig. 1(e) is incorrect. The correct label should be identical to the others in Fig. 1: “Absorbance (photons / s · m2 · nm) .”
  • 3. The caption under Fig. 1 gives the radius rather than the diameter for the simulated spheres and hemisphere. As stated in the text, the correct diameter is 200 nm. The diameter of the Au spheres discussed in Fig. 1(e) and 1(f) were correctly stated as 100 nm.

Although the results and conclusions of the paper are unaffected, the authors nonetheless regret these errors.
