Detecting a single nanoparticle by imaging the localized enhancement and interference of surface plasmon polaritons: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

In this erratum, the function ${\lambda _{{\rm SPP}}}$ in the third page of Opt. Lett. 44, 5707 (2019) [CrossRef]   has been corrected.

In the third page of [1], the equation ${\lambda _{{\rm SPP}}} = {\lambda _0} \cdot \sqrt {\frac{{{\rm Re}({\varepsilon _{{\rm Au}}}) \cdot {\varepsilon _{{\rm air}}}}}{{{\rm Re}({\varepsilon _{{\rm Au}}}) + {\varepsilon _{{\rm air}}}}}} $ should be corrected as $ {\lambda _{{\rm SPP}}} = {\lambda _0} \cdot \sqrt {\frac{{{\rm Re(}{\varepsilon _{{\rm Au}}}) + {\varepsilon _{{\rm air}}}}}{{{\rm Re(}{\varepsilon _{{\rm Au}}}) \cdot {\varepsilon _{{\rm air}}}}}} $.
