Bias-Field Tailored Plasmonic Nano-Electrode for Pulse and Continuous-Wave Terahertz Radiation

Abstract

By using nano-electrodes, the THz emission power was improved by four times and more than 50 times for the pulse and continuous-wave terahertz emitter. Comparisons are made in terms of local carrier dynamics.
