Spin Orbit and Contact Interactions in Orbital Angular Momentum Modes in a Fiber

We investigate analytically and numerically the spin-orbit and contact interactions in orbital angular momentum modes propagating within a fiber and conclude that the contact interaction can be a very large contributor to polarization corrections.
