Novel Energy-Saving Design to Enable Green Multi-radio Fiber-Wireless Access Networks

Abstract

This paper focuses on the high energy consumption of fiber-wireless access networks, and proposes energy-saving algorithms towards different parts of the networks. The OPNET is employed in simulation to verify the effectiveness of proposed algorithms.
