Cost Effective Self-Seeded WDM Mobile Fronthaul with Adaptive Crosstalk Cancellation and Bit Loading OFDM

Abstract

Cost-effective mobile fronthaul is implemented using a self-seeded RSOA with 1.5GHz bandwidth. Significant performance improvement is achieved with adaptive crosstalk cancellation and dynamic bit loading, and a capacity of 6.27Gb/s is demonstrated for 20km transmission.
