Hybrid frequency-correlation division multiplexing and demodulation of fiber optic interferometric sensors

Abstract

We present a novel technique for hybrid multiplexing and demodulation of low-finesse FP interferometers using a standard DFB diode laser. Results of proof-of-concept experiments demonstrate a high potential of the proposed technique for cost-sensitive applications.
