Abstract

The laser holographic microscope (LHM) uses phase-conjugate illumination from a photorefractive hologram to transilluminate subjects. We use the LHM to generate both intensity- and phase-modulation images. In this paper we also show that the distorting effects of an aberrating medium, for intensity-modulation images, can be reduced using the LHM.
