Path Imbalance Measurement of Fiber-Optic Interferometer Based On Phase-Compared Method

Abstract

A simple system for measuring path imbalance of two-arm fiber-optic interferometer based on phase-compared method is demonstrated. Its relative precision is beyond 10−4 in the range of tens centimeters to tens meters and the smallest absolute precision is 81μm.
