Temperature-Insensitive Strain Sensing with a Polarization-Maintaining Photonic Crystal Fiber Based on Brillouin Dynamic Grating

We propose and demonstrate temperature-insensitive strain sensing by using a polarization-maintaining photonic crystal fiber based on Brillouin dynamic grating, where the results indicate a strain coefficient of −0.154MHz/µε while the temperature-insensitive range is 5~80°C.
