Abstract

Atoms and ions can exhibit some unique properties under strong magnetic field at low temperature. Eu3+ ions are widely applied in phosphors due to its 5D0-7F1 and 5D0-7F2 emission peaks. In our work, the splitting phenomenon of 5D0-7F1 and 5D0-7F2 peaks of Eu3+ ion under low temperature and strong magnetic field is studied.
