Diode Pumped Continuous-Wave Yb Laser in Fluoride Phosphate Glasses

Abstract

Diode pumped tunable cw laser action of Yb-doped glasses was demonstrated at room temperature. The maximum output power and slope efficiency were 239 mW and 69 %, respectively.
