Pr3+-Yb3+ codoped 65GeO215Ga2O310BaO10LaF3 glasses were prepared. Infrared cross relaxation involving Yb3+: 2F5/22F7/2 emission was achieved on the excitation of the 1G4 state level of Pr3+. Visible multiphonon-assisted anti-Stokes excitation was obtained involving Pr3+: 3P03H4 emission thanks to Yb3+ sensitizer. We also found that the quantum efficiency could be increased by LaF3 nanacrystals precipitation.
