Amplification of higher-order Laguerre-Gauss modes using a dual-pass MOPA system

Abstract

A dual-pass end-pumped MOPA was constructed to perform power scaling of higher-order Laguerre-Gauss modes, generated on a spatial light modulator. We verify the experimental results using a 3D numerical model with good agreement.
