Estimation of Gain Bandwidth Limitation of Short Pulse Duration Based on Competition of Gain Saturation

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

We show the gain bandwidth limitation of the short pulse duration by time independent rate equations including the reabsorption effect, laser mode diameters and wavelength integration parts. The necessary conditions for mode-locked operation are obtained.
