Classical perspective of optomechanical Raman cooling of a vibration

Abstract

We present the theoretical description of optomechanical cooling of a molecular vibration based on the classical model of coupled oscillators. Using this model we derive similar form of optically induced decay rate of vibration as in quantum mechanical solution.
