Tilted fiber Bragg grating sensing platforms: how to process their comb-like amplitude spectrum?

Abstract

Tilted fiber Bragg gratings are very sensitive to surrounding refractive index changes, especially when they are surrounded by a thin gold film. We review here the main strategies to demodulate their comb-like transmitted amplitude spectrum.
