Abstract

In the last few years, a lot of results have been published relating to ceramic materials machining using excimer lasers whose wavelengths improve resolution and reduce undesirable thermal effects. As long as these effects could not be fully avoided, it is interesting to know what part of the incident energy shares in the sample heating.
